This is just a short list of the people who died because of racial injustice and discrimination. Today, the movement against systemic racism is more present than ever. Since the beginning of history, racism has existed. Just think of slavery back then and casual racism today. We need to acknowledge the past, learn from the mistakes and think of the present and the future.
As Martin Luther King asked for a colorblind society in the 1960s, we are still waiting for his demands become finally reality in the 21st century. It will be long and tough way of seeking justice and equality. But we all are in this together and have to fight injustice and racism together.
